Who else feels like living going round and round through the Endless Cycle of Life? You born, grow up, reproduce and die, but now in some kind of techno-pandemic situation. NOT COOL!

Do you feel tired, anxious, stressed or maybe you just want to yell? Nothing a cup of coffee can’t calm down for a few seconds, but then WHAT’S NEXT? Where should I go now? Should I move forward or stay where I am and don’t move? I mean we are in a crisis, is it even safe to move at all?
If you are like me, you sure have by now a compilation of schedules for homeschool, work, cooking menu, and every task you have to accomplish at home. But to be honest with you, all my big schedules, the ones that cover a whole month of tasks, haven’t worked for me at all. And I do want to clarify it’s not because of me, that is my EGO talking, but the truth is that my family and I are different kinds of people, I can’t force them to act on a Scheduled calendar forever. It’s crazy! Maybe one day or two or the whole week, but that’s it, they are just surviving and don’t want to know anything about myHitler regime.

As said, my daughters and husband do what I asked the way I want on the minute I like, from time to time (rarely) but they are just doing it because they love me and know that makes me happy! But they aren’t! So the first thing you must accept is that today we are living 24/7 with our people and they all are different persons, so embrace that and occupies yourself to make your stuff work, and let them be.
Don’t get me wrong, I do not have everything solved and the truth is that every week I modify my timeline because something maybe is not working out for me. But I do have three things I want to share with you that, no matter what, always works for me.
1. Take time for yourself

I’m not gonna delve into how much you deserve or need, everyone knows what they need. For example, I, as a mother of two who loves solitude, need at least 2 hours in the morning for myself. So what I do is wake up before everyone else and escape to the roof of the building where I live, that way if my kids wake up, Daddy is there to watch them lol. During this time what I do first is a bit of exercise and meditation, then I breathe (I mean I always do that, but consciously) and invite myself to embrace the day one more time, one day at a time. I drink a cup of coffee (hot and alone, this is important) and I love to watch the sun rises every day and how it consistently surprises me (it’s different every time) and then I work until 9:00 am when I go down my place to my Mommy life.

2. Plan your DAY ahead
Just a day, not the whole month. It can change remember that. I know, most of you think you are not organized and that writing your stuff doesn´t work and it only takes time from your tasks. I can assure you, that if you plan your WHOLE DAY (at least the main task you have to accomplish) it will be so much easier to finish everything. A PRO TIP is to include every task, for example: what are you gonna cook, or even eat if you are gonna order food delivery, homeschool, main tasks for your work if you have to clean something or water your plants. That way you avoid forgetting stuff, it focuses you and motivates you because your brain is receiving the information of the accomplished tasks and that liberates serotonin which makes you happy.

3. Workout Everyday
I know! I didn’t want it either, but I do have to confess nowadays is for must the one thing that is keeping me together. PLUS it helps you to keep in shape (because we are stress-eating people, almost everyone), you also liberate serotonin! And if you have little kids at home, especially toddlers, trust me they learn by example. My 2-year-old loves to workout every day, my 6-year-old off I think she is just jumping to teenage, God helps me!
I don’t want to fill up your head with TIPS and I do want you to read this completely and try to put it into practice. Part of my goals this week was to reconnect with my writer-self and the things I love to do the most but stopped doing during quarantine. And I am truly happy to accomplish this first week with success!

The actual worldwide situation is not easy for anyone, there’s economic and health crisis everywhere. I know that maybe you don’t feel at your best now but I can tell you one thing I learned when my mother died almost two years ago: This is your reality now if you don’t accept it you will keep fighting to lose because you are fighting something you can’t change. The secret of the greatest minds is the HOW.
How are you going to confront this situation and everyday situation from now on?
I hear you, I feel you, I feel the same. I’ll love to hear from you, so please write me back. What do you want to talk about?
